In exceptional cases, the PTCarPhone can be operated with an LTE antenna with only one antenna connection.

To do this, the antenna must be connected to the main connection of the LTE modem on the PTCarPhone.

The maximum transmission power of the PTCarPhone 6 in the respective network is listed below:

GSM 900: 2 watts
GSM 1800: 1 watt
UMTS: 0.25 watts
 

You may need to operate the device with a SIM card adapter. The SIM card holder of the PTCarPhone is designed for mini SIM cards (2FF). Of course, the PTCarPhone can also be operated with micro (3FF) and nano SIM cards (4FF) and the corresponding adapters. However, it is essential to ensure that the SIM card used with the adapter also corresponds to the correct dimensions of a mini SIM card (2FF). This applies to the length and width as well as the thickness of the adapted SIM card.

By pressing the * button several times, you can perform dialing pauses and other functions on the PTCarPhone. The respective symbols stand for the following functions:
* = For GSM commands, device codes or DTMF tone dialing (e.g. *#06#)
P = Transmits the "Pause" command via DTMF tone
