Free Software Updates
We are constantly developing the software of the PTCarPhone systems to implement new features or special customer requests. All PTCarPhone users will benefit from this constant development, as this sometimes get additional features in the existing devices.

New software in three steps
With only a few keypresses you can update the software of your PTCarPhone system without removing the device out of your car and shipping it.
- Note the version number of the present software. You can find the version number via:
SYSTEM > DEVICE INFO - Start the update via SYSTEM > DEVICE INFO > UPDATE and entering of the handset code/device code (Default: “0000”). The PTCarPhone establishes an internet connection and checks whether a software update is available. If so, the device will automatically download and install the update (a progress bar will appear on the display).
- After successfull installation the device restarts automatically.
NOTE: Internet connections can generate extra charges. Please contact your service provider for more information.
