Shutdown of UMTS/3G - Switch to LTE now!
In Germany, the schutdown of UMTS/3G and conversion to LTE is imminent. By the end of June 2021, the three major German network operators will have completed the switch-off or will have continued to upgrade their networks. This means: devices based on UMTS will "fall back" to the much slower GSM technology. In detail, this means a limited bandwidth and thus considerably slower transmission of data.
