Martin Wilske is the new Managing Director at pei tel

Generation Change at the Provider of Critical Communication Solutions

Setting the course: Martin Wilske has been the new Managing Director for Development and Production at pei tel Communications GmbH since 1 February. The 40-year-old takes over the position from Thomas Martin, who previously shaped the fortunes of the developer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality communications solutions with headquarters in Teltow near Berlin and a branch in Osnabrück for three decades. Martin Wilske already has extensive industry experience and will manage the company together with Peter Stroetmann, who is responsible for sales, marketing and internationalisation. In his current role, the previous Managing Director Thomas Martin will be responsible for familiarising his successor with the company over the next few months and will then continue to support the company in an advisory capacity.

"Communication technology has been with me since I was a child. I am all the more pleased that I can now contribute my experience and passion to one of the industry experts in the safety-critical environment," says Martin Wilske. After studying information systems technology at TU Dresden, he most recently held a management position at Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity GmbH. He was able to gain international experience during a stay abroad in China, among other things. "Martin Wilske is an excellent fit for our company. I am convinced that he has the right qualifications to successfully lead pei tel into the future together with Peter Stroetmann," explains current Managing Director Thomas Martin.

Wilske intends to focus his new role on driving forward digitalisation: "We are currently experiencing a turning point. Increasing networking is creating a wide range of new communication opportunities on the one hand and opportunities for synergies on the other, which we want to utilise," he says. Cooperation with universities is also particularly close to his heart. He wants to enable young people to gain an insight into technical contexts at an early stage and also encourage interest in starting a career in the company later on. pei tel Communications GmbH specialises in the provision of professional communication solutions for public authorities and organisations with security tasks. In addition to selling products from well-known suppliers, the company develops and manufactures its own products such as handsets, loudspeakers, microphones and system solutions at its headquarters in Teltow near Berlin.
